s5 t2 fuel rails better? what else

Hey guys, I had a s4 t2 engine I blew a while ago. I ended up buying a s5 t2 replacement engine and Ive been reading up on small differences in parts.

I read the s5 t2 fuel pressure regulator is better, I have a set in my garage and swap that over. I read something in here, http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...o_s4_swap.html , that mentioned "less likely to leak and catch fire"

A few people also told me the s5 t2 intake manifold is better, is there any way I can tell the difference between s4 t2 nd s5 t2 intake manifolds?

The s5 fuel rail with the integrated PD is just as likely to leak as the s4 PD.

^^^ and when they do, you cant just buy a new PD, or shove a banjo bolt in the end, you'll need a whole new rail

its way easier to connect -an fittings to the s4 rails than to s5 rails, with the s5 you need to chop the ends off and weld or braze on -an bungs. Also, i am not sure both s4 rails fit on a s5 block. you might as well just modify the s5 rails and get yourself an aftermarket fpr.

S4 rails will fit but you need to reverse the side the PD is on. If you are replacing the PD with a banjo bolt then it's not a concern.

The intake manifold of the S5 NA it better because of the VDI valve. But I never heard of a better IM for a TII S5.

The turbo of the S5 is better. Bigger wastegate.
