s5 interior and s4 interior interchangable? like the back panels for the lights and stuff like that, the dash doesn't interchange right? what about seats and the rest of the panels (quater) thanks
i did a search and it came up with a lot of stuff that had nothing to do with what iw anted to know or i can't search for sh*t

center console (only w/ center vent piece)
storage bins

not interchangable
a-pillar (auto seat belts)
idiot light surround (changed for 89-91)
instrument cluster surround (changed for 89-91)

there are probubly more, but thats all i can think of

 

actually they changed in 88, so your answer is semi incorrect. More correct would be that the idiot light panel can be interchanged if it is an 88 without modification, or a 86-87 if the clear plastic idiot light cover is also swapped.


No it is interchanable if you use the S5 switches and harness.

 

So can I put my stock S4 gauge cluster into an S5 dash?

 

with re-wiring/re-pinning of the plugs, yes
