S5 to s4 conversion question

after removing the mouse belts aka auto belts.

Do you also remove the passive belt control box? ( its behind the glove box in the S5)( it even says it on the box) and is there anything else in that box that is related to the Theft deterent control unit. or is it just straight just auto belt related?

the reason im ask is because the Haynes manual is tell me that its the Theft Deterent Control Unit. I wanted to ask to clear things up.

Thanks for the help

i would probably just leave it in unless the seatbelts are the only thing that connect to it.

THEFT is in the CPU on a series five. Why do people use a Haynes when the factory service manual is online for free. Got me.
