s5 rotors in s4. what do i need?

hi,

im about to tear into one of my s4 na 13bs and i am thinking about putting s5 (higher compression) rotors in it while im in there...will also be getting a rebuild kit and street porting it. a couple questions:

1. what all do i need for this swap. the s5 rotors(duh), and what else? counterweight? flywheel?

2. when i buy the rebuild kit, will i hafta buy a s5 one if i do this? what all is different as far as that goes..i mean can i just get s5 apex seals or something...or will i hafta get everything for s5, and what about the bearings and ****? (s5 kits are more expensive :-( )

thanks,

-Pat

Im also doing the exact thing. You will need the S5 front and rear counterweights, along with the flywheel. For the bearings and seals, Im 99% sure that they are all the same, but would like someone else to confirm this..

The rear counterweight is in the flywheel. If you have a light wheel you will need to c.weight that came with it or an auto tranny c.weight from that same engine type and year.

Dunno about the seals though.

p.s. If you think you are confused, try putting some s5 turbo rotors in a 13BRE Cosmo with an FD center plate

you have to re-tune the ecu since the computer is calibrated to the s4 rotors.

i dont know if its just on turbo models or not, but there IS a rear counterweight underneith the flywheel that you need a puller to get off
