S5 radiator gasket

S5 radiator gasket

So I put a new to me radiator in my 89 n/a and I miss placed the gasket on the the filler neck thing. I don't think napa would have that part but idk. I was thinking using silacone or some thing

it should just be an o-ring for the filler neck. napa should have an o-ring that should fit

just find a generic o-ring and use a light amount of silicone on it to be sure it seals up ok. just make sure the o-ring is not too thick that it bows out the plastic housing when bolted down.

i lost thr o ring to mine and just used black rtv and i have had no problems with it.
