s5 pulley question

tdc is when shaft key is set at 9 oclock, the s4 pulley has timing marks at 12oclock. am i correct so far?.

now i have s5 motor, and s5 pulley only bolts 1 way. when my shaft is in tdc, the pulley timing marks look to be a 10 oclock aprox. Is this normal??

sounds accurate to me, the S5 has a more advanced spark plug timing location so i don't believe S4 and S5 pulleys are the same(i have yet to bother checking for myself on this yet though).

Both S4 and S5 have the same timing. Lead 5 degrees atdc and Trail 20 degrees atdc.

They both should be mirror images of each other imho. TDC is TDC is TDC and five and twenty degrees ATDC is five and twenty degrees ATDC no matter where you put the sparkplugs.
