There has been a thread asking for profile of exterior colors. But the factory brochure doesn't list interior color choices per each exterior color. It seems that the predominate S5 interior color is black, but some come in blue.

I believe all Black and Red S5's have black interior. But, I'm betting both colors were available for the Blue, White, and Silver S5's.

I'm especially curious if there are '89 White Vert's with black interior out there.

If you post a response, please mention what model you have. i.e., GXL, GTU, Vert T2.

My red S5 TII has a black interior.

 

I dont have an s5.. but I have a silver s4 w/ blue int.

 

My black s5 gxl has black interior

 

My '90 GXL is Silver/Red

 

I thought that was only a S4 thing.

wheres the option for black on black? My 89 GTU, my 90 GTU, and 89 vert are all black on black.

 

as I was sure all of them have Black interiors. However, seeing one response of a Silver one with Red interior, there might be some Black ones with Red interior also.

Yeah, Ive personally seen 2 silver s5's(silver was pretty rare) with red interior...wtf were they thinking?

Most is black on black, or red on black.

those are the options on 1990's rx-7's thats out of the 22 page book from the dealership. my uncle gave it to me 2 years ago before i even got my 1st rx7

 

I have also seen white '89 Turbos with blue interior, BTW.

The maroon interior is VERY rare on the '89-91 cars - I've only seen one car with it, and it was the silver/champagne color. The car was a total POS - the interior reeked like you have no idea .

Another exterior color that's often overlooked is Midnight Blue - there's a guy here in town with a midnight blue '91 Turbo with black interior - car is GORGEOUS. The midnight blue color is pretty rare - wish there were more of 'em on the road!

umm they never came in midnight blue.... they only came in that weird blue. it was a repaint. in 91 if i am not wrong there were only 3 cars models made na/ TII/ vert and the TII's and na's only came in Black, Red, White.

there are pics of an immaculate 5n brave blue 91 turbo 2 that i have seen. also my friend has an 89 t2 that is white on blue, where did they get the blue cows from?

Anything to back this up? I've seen the Midnight Blue TII up close and personal, and it hasn't been colorchanged. I looked in all of your major places to not spray a car when colorchanging, and it definitely came from the factory that color.
