S5 OMP block off questions.

So im doing a full emissions removal and OMP block off. I've looked over a few ways to do it and some side effects, one question is could I just remove the four bolts and put a solid bolt and copper washer on and leave it plugged in, and also the bolts where the injectors go? Or will it build pressure and cause damage? Cause I don't want it to go into limp mode so I plan on leaving it plugged in, but I don't want it hanging loose in the engine bay. Or is the block off plate right there necessary?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking and I apologize ahead of time for the smart-assness.... but if you intend to remove the OMP, yes you must install a block off plate where it was. Otherwise you will have oil everywhere. Unless you get an Rtek or some other stand-alone EMS, you will absolutely need to leave the pump plugged in and hang it in the engine bay somewhere as well.

EDIT: I get what you are saying now.... and yes, i think that will work. Just remove the lines and banjo bolts; plug them up and leave the OMP bolted to the block. I would go ahead and just remove the oil injectors and replace them with bolts as well.

Banzai sells a nice block off kit, just make sure you buy the one for the S5.

Yea I'm going to go rtec in a few months and at that time I will go with the block off plate, but I'm just concerned about it building pressure trying to feed oil through the lines and not being able to release the pressure. Is there a way to disable something internally so it doesn't pump at all but the computer still thnks it's working?

What?
You buy the RTEK so you can disable the OMP. If you just unplug the OMP on the S5 stock ECU, the computer will go into limp mode. Since you're still on the stock ecu you have to block it off on the front cover and keep the OMP plugged in. Hang it somewhere in the engine bay out of the way until you get the RTEK, then you can unplug it.

yes you can install solid bolts into the OMP ports to block it off, the pressure is low so it isn't going to explode on you or anything crazy.
