S5 NA & TII ECU (Search ****'s need not apply)

I searched, and got a somewhat concrete answer, but i wanted to ask to be certain.

Short of the MAP sensor (I assume its the MAP sensor) will the TII S5 ECU plug directly into, and control correctly, using an NA wiring harness? If so, do I only need to swap out the pressure sensor to a TII one so it can read boost? (obviously I will also need 550cc injectors, but a TII pump too?)

Thanks in advance for not being a search ****. I've been around here long enough to know that I need to search first, I am just looking for confirmation of my findings.

I can only post what I've already posted before, so if you've searched you'll know all this...

Yes the ECU will plug straight in and control the engine, but you need to make some small changes to the ECU wiring.

Pin 1U (Br/R wire) is mileage switch #2 on Turbos, empty on 5-spd NA's and the AT switch on auto NA's. If your car was an auto you should disconnect and remove the EC-AT control module.

Pin 2M (Y/B wire) is the knock sensor on Turbos and the VDI solenoid valve on NA's. Connect the knock sensor to the VDI solenoid valve connector.

Pin 3N (G/R wire) is empty on 5-spds and the EC-AT control unit idle signal on autos.

Pin 3R (L/W wire) is the boost control solenoid valve on Turbos and the 6PI solenoid valve on NA's. If you're keeping the factory electronic boost control you'll need to connect the boost control solenoid valve to the 6PI solenoid valve connector.

You MUST use both the Turbo AFM and the Turbo MAP sensor with the Turbo ECU. You'll also need to lengthen the BAC valve wiring to reach the new location.

Assuming I am keeping the NA manifold, I am guessing there is no need to lengthen the BAC wire?

Thanks for the info btw. Im a search nub. I rarely find what I am looking for

Is this another one of those "only provide half the info" threads?

Not really. I was intrigued by the success of an RX8 owner who put together a rear mount turbo set up on his car. I am going through the steps in my head as to what would be involved in such a setup on an RX7. I just didnt want to say as much because it will inevitably turn into a "just swap a TII in" or "that would be SOOO laggy" or "It just wont work" thread, and I was hoping to avoid that.

Probably would have helped you or anyone else out to have that info. The biggest problem i have come across with using a stock TII ecu is the AFM. Making it a blow thorugh setup probably wouldnt work well. I came to that conclusion last night after that last post I made. The fact of the matter is that to do such a setup would almost certainly require a standalone, so my questions are essentially pointless.
