s5 n/a. Trying to see what I can block off/remove.

I own a JDM s5 tii with microtech and nearly all peripherals removed. SO no air pump, idle controls etc etc.

I used to own an s4 n/a which I also blocked off alot of thing and removed the air pump.

I recently picked up an s5 n/a that I'll be using as a track car. Its going to stay stock ECU. It has a rebuilt engine with less then 7k

Things I want to get rid of:

the 3k Startup. Is there a way to disable this? Removing IAC orthe BAC? I know I cant remove the airpump since the aux ports and VDI use it. I wont be using a CAT. The only thing I want to keep is the thermowax for easier cold starts. everything else can go.

Also, I dont think there is a way to disable the s5 OMP without throwing an error code on the stock ecu? (want to run premix)

If no quick answer I'll be looking at the FSMs...

RTek ecu upgrade will take care of the AWS and OMP. http://www.digitaltuning.com/index.p...age=1&ecu=S5NA

It's a good idea to kee the BAC as it will adjust idle and it holds the coolant lines feeding the thermowax. Here's a link for emissions removal.

^ All great information and suggestions.

May I suggest some quality block-off plates?
