S5 MOP Problem (I think, not running)

Had all of my intake manifold off, cleaning aux ports and such, checking things...
Put everything back together, jump start the car (batt dead) and it starts, but very rough idle... I had just completed the TB mod as well, with some porting so the cold start assist was out... and the TB was closing all the way. Also forgot to plug up the AWS hole... so yeah

So after I tripple check everything, all sensors plugged in, fix the idle, all hoses attached etc etc.

I leave town, come back 3 days later.

Car won't start.

Take the wire out of the trailing ignitor... it arcs so I'm getting spark.
Fuel pump works, getting fuel all the way to the rails. Don't know if the injectors are firing... no way to really check that I know of.

Frustrated... I check ECU codes. The normal I already know of (TPS, Split air solenoid, port air, AWS) but then I see that code 20 is up... MOP Position Sensor. The MOP itself can't be fucked up because the ECU still works (S5 almost always fries when MOP goes out right?)

I get perfect continuity of all wires from the ECU to the MOP.

I haven't take the MOP off or anything like that because I honestly don't feel like ******* with it unless I have to.

I tried diagnosing the problem with the FSM... but since I get continuity... I don't know where to go.

The car will not start at all though.

dude ,, i kinda had the same problem. only i didnt have the mods you did. i had a rough idle.. hesitation, bucking. seemed like i was only running on one rotor, and or 2 injectors. i checked the codes. i think i pull that same code. i dont know what it was but the OMP was not hard to do .. i had it in and out in about 45 minutes. i bought a used omp with a sensor.. and just put that in there.. infact my sensor had cracked in half. ever since she has been running really well .

The OMP won't prevent the car from starting. Check the resistance on the OMP to see if it's good/bad/ugly. Perhaps you still have vac leaks? forgot to hook the AFM up?

Even with the omp malfunctioning the car should start and idle fine. The resistance on my omp was off so I changed out the ecu and omp at the same time just to be safe as many people had experiences of the ecu going out as well when the omp failed.

Nope... actually the really funny thing is... when I had the AWS hose unplugged from the dynamic chamber... the AFM was unplugged as well. It was really hard to start, and I couldn't believe how much of a dumbass I was to leave something so important unplugged. The car actually started with the throttle pushed down about 25% and a good idle at 2700. Heh.. when it would drop down to like 1500 it had a real rumble to it... like a boom boom boom boom as each rotor fired.

I have checked EVERY vac nipple, EVERY hose, every sensor, and ACV. Basicly everything.

Santiago... I'll hit you up like Tuesday about the MOP. I get paid Saturday... but there's these damn hurricanes are coming right for us. . If I can't diagnose it by then I'll buy it. Still have a S5 N/A TPS? Gonna buy one of them too.
