S5 main fuse concern

Wsup guys, I have an issue. I was looking over my fuses in the main fuse block (I'm in the process of restarting my s5) and noticed one fuse that didn't resemble the others. I figured out from the panel cover that it was the main fuse. Now i wasn't aware that this fuse in particular could not be removed as the others and for some reason I thought that it could (under the impression that the previous owner wedged the bad boy in). Obviously the joke was on me, and now it is destroyed b/c I went neanderthal on it.

My question: does this fuse screw in right from underneath the fuse block? I went to purchase a main fuse at a local parts store but spent like 20 minutes in there with those guys (no comment). I came back with a fuse that does not have a male/female end. It has this end that seems like it should sit on a bar or something.

Im stuck at work for the moment, as soon as I go home I will remove the fuse block to see whether or not that bad boy is indeed screwed in.

Let me know what you guys think

It screws in from the sides of the fuse block, toward the bottom. There are two little plastic doors that need to be opened up, as well as unbolting the two bolts on the block to slide it up so you can actually get to those two side screws.

What about that main fuse? Is this bolted down or something? Hopefully I didn't damage the plastic doors on the fuse panel itself

He was talking about the main fuse. It is held in by two short 10mm bolts on either side of the fuse block.

yea thats the one, 10 mm eh, ill get on that in a hr or so. Im finally able to commit my time to working on this car after a year of b.s. so im really anxious. Attempted to start it and all it did was turn, no spark. Turns out my cousin had misplaced the spark plugs which I have corrected.
