S5 LSD, which LSD additive??

S5 LSD, which LSD additive??

im installing a new tranny in my S5 GXL today and need to know what type of friction modifier, or LSD additive to put in the rear end, ive heard different stories. thanks for the help

You do not need a friction modifier for a S5 Viscous LSD. It is a sealed unit, so anything you add could not get to the actually LSD part anyway.

But you know unless you added it, the S5 GXL does not come with a LSD anyway.

Now if it is the S4 (88) GXL in your signature (which that signature is in violation of forum rules being more than 10 lines, fix it now before another mod deleats it) then you use the normal LSD additive/friction modifier that is designed to work with the gear lube you used.
