The S5 inlet is 3" . Get a silicone 3" to 3" K&N filter. You don't want to go too much smaller than a 3" K&N opening since you want to kep transition smooth as possible.

The S5 AFM neck is not 3", it's 2.5".

You're probably getting the outside and inside measurement mixed up. The outside is about 3".
NZ?

Don't be lazy. Go take the airbox out and measure the AFM neck. You will find it is ~2.5" OD. Also measure the length of the space you have to work with. Then go to the K&N website and look on their pod filter application tables. You will find many filters that will meet your needs. Pick the one you like the most, remembering that bigger is always better but it is also more expensive. Write down the part number and then go order your filter. It's all very easy.

LOL...I was just thinking "Hmm...would be easier for him to just measure himself ."

The S4 AFM needs an adaptor, so the filter neck has to match the size of the adaptor. Most are ~3" since any less than that would partially block the AFM inlet.
