s5 fuse issue

im hoping someone might be able to help me out or at least give me a clue?
i don't have the fuse panel cover to indicate what fuse does what(kick panel).
i keep blowing the only fuse thats a 7.5amp that i know of is connected to the electric seat belts and the gauges, everything works fine until the moment i put it in to reverse the then pop!! goes the fuse, ive even tried uprating the fuse to a 30 amp and still the same result, it pops!!!!!
has anyone ever have this problem
ans also does anyone know of a thread that has a picture of the fuse panel cover?
any input would be much appreciated

Unfortunately the label on the 7.5 fuse says ROOM; thanx for that helpful info??

Consider pulling the shifter cover & console and looking for wires in the area that might be shorted. I've seen that same problem and the action of moving the shifter over to reverse caused it. Otherwise happy hunting.

its a short, a 12v source is grounding when you go in reverse and blowing the room fuse. mine would blow fuses because when i put the tracks back on for the belt i accidentally crushed a wire down in the track and it would blow a fuse when i opened the door. you just have to figure out where the short is now, happy hunting

yeah, i was referring to a series five(s5).i ended up tracing the wires all the way to the fuse box and couldnt find any wires that show fraying or binding, so for the time being i figured id just unplug the reverse light sensor from the trans. two wires with plugs coming from the general direction in the trans mission tunnel, unplugged them and the problem is fixed, funny enough so do the reverse lights
