s5 fuel tank Into a s4 - can It be done?

s5 fuel tank Into a s4 - can It be done?

I have a s4 turbo that is in need of a new tank. i am able to get a s5 NA fuel tank for cheap. can i directly mount it? do i need accessories to this like the fuel tank straps from a s5?

yes you can do it, but the fuel pump needs to be s5 as well. so youll need to go buy an s5 t2 pump

Yes, I've done this

You need the tank, the two mounting straps (remember the S5 tank is biggger), the S5 fuel pump assembly (remember the S5 tank is deeper, so the S4 assembly won't reach to the bottom), and the wire loom that runs from the pump assembly under the plastic side panel to the main loom connector for a plug and play (it's different than a S4's). Pretty easy install if you have all the parts.

Either a NA or TII pump assemply is ok, just be sure and swap the TII pump from your old assemply if you end up using the NA assembly.
