s5 front turn signal wiring on an s4 with s5 front bumper

ok...i searched...didnt find an answer. my question is...i looked in the haynes manual and it looks like the turn signal lights have a clip at the end and they clip into something. the s5 turn signals i have doesnt have that clip...so can i splice the s5 signals into the s4 lense wiring? i looked at it and the s5 lenses have 2 wires while the s4 has 3...so how would i wire the s5 ones into the s4?
thanks
