s5 flywheel on s4?

So I am looking to get a steel light weight flywheel off of one of my friends. His rx7 is a na s5 and mine is a na s4. Would I have to swap to a s5 counter weight also?

No

Counterweights go with series engine. S4 engine = S4 counterweight. But if you have a stock now, and he has an upgraded one with the seperate counterweight, you're going to need to buy a new counterweight as the stock counterweights are integral with the stock flywheel

The removable stock rear counterweights are on automatic models only.
