S5 engine, s4 tranny... will it work?

I jumped into an engine swap with out doing the research, now it is starting to show. I cannot seem to get the engine and transmission to line up properly.

Also does anyone know where a diagram can be found that shows where all of the vacuum lines all go? i broke a few of them due to age and now things are not all lining up the same.

please help.

they should line right up, but the tranny mounts have to match the series. I believe most of the electrical connectors match too

Loose the engine mounts and jack up the front of the engine a little, that helps.

well i got the engine in... the clutch linkage was wedged in the trans tunnel all i had to do was drop it a little so the clutch would go back and allow the whole thing to slide together
