S5 engine into a S4 car

I did a search and could not find the answer to my question.

This car that I am looking at buying is a 1987 TII. It has had an engine and turbo swap. The engine to me looks like it belongs to a S5 car though.

Is there any major problems to look out for or is it just as easy as putting a S4 engine into a S4 car?

Ive done that swap. its not a bad thing or a difficult thing to swap the motors from different years. i cant think of anything that should make you worry about itas long as it runs right, well then, it runs right.

What about the difference in alternators. Does the S4 wire harness clip into the S5 alt?
