Hehe, lots of beer indeed.

I did this swap on my s4 with a black s5 dash. Make sure you get the brace with the dash... I didn't and got ripped off when I bought one. The only problem i ran into was the idiot cluster did not fit... but that's about it. The most problems i had was with the a/b pillars and seat belts. but since you have a vert... you don't have this problem.

How can you get the harness off. I just can't imagine it.

Does the harness have to ends that can be plugged in or does the harness has one plug. Pics would be nice.

you just unplug like the radio and gagues and buttons etc...

just label where everything was plugged into and you should be fine. The gauges are different too but your s4 will fit in the s5.
