s5 automatic top bolts removal

i have searched and have looked and didnt find it.
im doing the automatic to manual swap and getting the top bolts off look like a pain in the ***.

do i have to remove the UIM. or what??

ive had my MT out a few times, i just reached back there with a wrench. you only get a small angle of movement (pain in the ***, yes) but thats the only way ive done it. once you get your hands in there confortable in the right place, its not that bad.

err. well ive been trying and trying to get a good fit in there. but ill try again.
teh problem would probably be getting it back on though.

if i remember right one bolt is backwards. i think i didnt bolt that one back in, was a pain in a** to put back in. that was the only one that was the biggest pain.

i have a tII with approx. 300 rwhp and i dont have it in. there's another bolt right next to it too, you'll be fine

but yeh when i look behind the uim all i see is one bolt not the other one.
