S5 Aluminum Rotors

What exactly is aluminum about the series 5 engine rotors? I know they are 1/2 pound lighter and this is supposed to be because that they are made out of aluminum. I can stick a magnet to all of my S5 rotors and one that has been sitting around for a while has rusted on nearly all the surfaces I can see. They are definately all S5 rotors because I weighed them on a certified scale and they are very close to 9.54 pounds.... unlike the 10.04 pound S4 rotors. I'm just curious here exactly Mazda hid the aluminum.

Never heard anything about them being aluminum. Theyre just like all the other rotors.

GSLSE rotors are 11.5lb while 86-88 rotors are 10.5lb, but you're don't believe they're titanium do you??
