S5 13BT into S4 TII...

Putting a J-spec S5 13BT in my '87 TII. Are there any conversion harnesses out there to convert the interior harness? Or does anyone have any tips for wiring who might have done this in the past?

Thanks,
Anthony

I have searched both this and the archives many times. Nothing to answer my question directly. I finally found something that helped somewhat this morning but I would still like to hear from people who have done it first hand. I was hoping to get more info than "Get both schematics and go to work". Thanks for your cleverly apt insinuation.

If i were you i would get the S4 TII harness, injectors AFM, S4 front housing, ECU. These will be all plug n play. You can also use an N/A exept the N/A front housing.
I do not recommend using S5 harness tapped into your S4 it will be a PITA. Or start looking into the forsale section and buy yourself a Standalone.

Thanks for the input. I have everything to go back to S4 ecu, harness, sensors, etc... except the injectors. I was wanting to avoid buying the injectors and was wanting to do the quickest thing to get the car back on the road. I also have a megasquirt V3 w/ harness in my garage along with access to a E6X w/harness. I just really dont have the time. I'm getting married in about 9 days and only have about half that to get the car together. I dont mind splicing, extending wires, and re-pinning connectors and have a spare S5 NA harness to give me extra wires and connectors.I also have both FSMs but I wanted to hear some feedback from people who have already done it before I start to tear up some harnesses.

If you need to get the car on the road. You can put the N/A injectors , just avoid boosting on the turbo. Like what i said you can use the existing N/A harness,AFM,ECU,injectors you will be fine for the time being. Congrats tieing the knot J/K

i'm goin to write up a big post this weekend on what i switched on mine with pictures and everything, i made my own engine harness from the RHD S5 harness and spliced in the FEM 01 and 02 plugs and then spliced in the #1 S5 plug onto the S4 chassis harness....i just got it fired up this morning.....altogether it took me about 4 days to put the motor in and get it working...i had never even worked on a rotary engine beforehand so if your already familiar with it it might be quicker for you look for the thread saturday night ....i don't have time to type it up till then

you'll need a S5 N370 boost pressure sensor and S5 rad with the filler cap on the rad

I'm looking forward to the right up. I do already have a N370 pressure sensor and a S5 radiator so I should be set to go.

Thanks,
Anthony
