Exclamation S5 13B Rebuild Noobie how to clean housings

okay here is the deal i bought good housings from willow at lucky 7 they just need to be cleaned. He said i have to clean the inside of the housing and use some sandpaper because it has minor minor groove. So my question is what sand paper grit do i use to sand down the inside of the housing so the groove is removed all while still keeping the housings healthy. Another question is how do i polish the inside of the housings. here are pictures thanks - Gabriel

2nd to last picture the rotor housing on the right is bad. I wouldn't reuse those housing because the "crome flaking" doesn't look so healthy. I have one that is a little better then that, but I wouldn't it.
