s4 wiring harness alternator wire?

Ok so guys im in the middle of doing my s5t2 conversion into my s4 car. im running my s4 ecu. And for some retarded reason i cannot find the wire with the ring that goes on the side of the alternator.i found the 2 prong plug that goes in the back of it but not the wire that fits over the small 10mm pole. i only see one ground around that and i thought that goes to the block. Anyone got a picture of that single wire color? Thanks

If you are running an S5 Alternator you will have to look at the Alt Conversion chart.
Your Old s4 harness had a plug that went to the Alt and it won't be used with the S5/FD type alternator now.
Only one wire will be used to connect up.(besides that thick black one).
So one of the Wires off that Big Connector pigtail will now go to the Screw terminal too.You have to make a wire that has a ring terminal on it going from the connector to the Screw on the Alt.
So the Big wire and a wire from the Clip( on the alt) are connected. That is used to excite the alt.Without it your alt won't charge or put out correctly.

the S4 alternator connector was a rectangular plug with a white/black and a black/white wire on it. the pigtail came off right at the charge wire ring terminal near where the CAS connector terminated.

follow your battery harness.(subharness) it is on that.
that wire connects to the battery eventually anyways.

every rotary engine has an oil level switch, the wire may have broken off at the sender itself, which is fairly common.
