has any body done this or at least tried????is it possible,since they do look so simular besides the slight angle on the s5 waste gate....any answer would be much appreciated.Thanks.

 

The wastegate actuator is what you are talking about..... all it does is open and close the wastegate. The acrual wastegate is just a hole (or 2, in the case of the S5) drilled in the turbine housing that allows exhaust gasses to bypass the turbine wheel. If it impossible to switch just the wastegate, you would have to switch the turbine-side of the turbo itself.
