S4 Vs. S5 Intake Manifolds
Okay, I've done a few searches and read about 100 posts on this issue and I really haven't found a definitve answer on this issue. At least in terms of my question.
Supposedly a S4 intake is better for a ported engine. And the VDI S5 will flow better with a stock engine. But there are always conflicting views upon that. So I ask you what Is best for this engine setup.
Front and Rear Housings - S5 housings
Intermediate Housing - S5 Housing
Rotors - 9.7 Compression
Rotor Housings - S4 Housings
Now I'm going with an "Aggressive" street port with exhaust ports also ported. So will the S4 be better for the Engine since its supposedly better for Ported Engines, I'm assuming it will fit the engine without a problem.. or Will it ? But If you out there have the opinion the S5 will do me better, tell me how and why..
Also Someone finally post some proof with Dyno slips or something on what there setup put out.
Especially if you have a similar setup as me

How about just skip both and upgrade to the 3rd gen intake manifold. I don't have any dynos comparing the differences, but I'd say 95% of FC's with big power upgrades (400-700 rwhp) are using the FD manifold. Should be ale to get one at a junkyard for $50-200.
