S4 vs S5 control arm

are S4 front control arms same as S5? i think the clean ones with the es bushings are from an s5... there was this fc that got raped in the yard but still had the arms on it so i pulled it... i pulled the one off my s4 to install the one i cleaned up and put the bushings on it and its a little different....would it still work for me?

another thing. this cover on my axel was loose when i pulled it. when i bolt it back up would it be held shut? or is it now supposed to be loose? thanks

the s5 one looks like it has bigger "holes" in it, might just be that its cleaner though. Can you weigh both of them while there out? would be nice to see if theres a difference between them so us S4's can reduce unsprung weight a bit,..

Okie, this is what I have found from dredging posts up.

A S4 arm will bolt to a S5. However, your need the S4 sway bar links.

I think I have a bad balljoint in my S5 and cringe thinking about the cost of replacing the S5 arms. Might just find some S4 arms.

To bad I just installed new poly bushings in my bum control arms
