S4 Turbo Oil Feed Lines
Been searching around but just can't seem to find the answer.
On a N/A block the oil feed port at the top of the engine to go to the turbo has a plug in it. Is this port already tapped and the plug is twisted in or is it just a smooth bore and not tapped?
Had a major snafu when I ran into this.
Thanks much, will keep looking around for an answer but kind of time pressed.

This is from memory...........what I did was drill out the plug. Then I tapped the threads for the banjo bolt that goes there on a turbo car. WEll, when I went to put in the banjo bolt, it was too short. I guess that was a tapperd hole or??? Anyway , I found a bolt longer than the banjo bolt and I made that bolt into a banjo bolt by first drilling a hole thru the length of the shank.......then a side hole thru the shank, like a banjo bolt.....then with it chucked in a drill press, I used a file/sandpaper/Dremel motor to make a ?? groove around the shank where the oil hole was.
That's not too clear, but the best I can do. If you run into this problem, banjo bolt of the right length can be Bought.
