S4 transmission crossmember centre rubber bush

Hi Guys,

Quick question...

Today I was installing some competition gearbox mounts, and noticed that the centre rubber bush in the transmission crossmember was stuffed. Checked the parts list and I got a little confused. I had thought the bush was a separate part, but now I think I looked wrong.

Do I need to order a whole replacement crossmember, or can I get a new centre bush from somewhere?

Thanks all.

Best off just replacing the whole crossmember. It is probably all rusty and nasty and will come with the new bushing in it. It isn't very expensive either.

Actually condition of the crossmember is pretty good, surprisingly.

However based on the fact it's not too expensive I think you may be right! unless the price here in Aus is a rip (quite likely).

I'll find out next week.

Thanks mate.
