s4 trans on an s5?

hey guys i have an s5 and i just blew the trans, so i picked up a cheap s4 tranny and the guys said all i need is the mount, im just wondering if theres anything eles i need?

As long as your not going from NA to Turbo trans you will be fine, you will just need to also have the S4 transmission cross member if it didn't come with it. Just remember to get an S4 tranny mount, not S5. You might have to lengthen a few wires for the sensors.

i did this swap cause i had the same problem. and you don't need a different crossmember if you switch out the ends [took me 30 min to switch the ends of the trannys out] and sensors will hook up perfectly. Gearing is almost the same with the 5th gear reving 500 rpm more than it use to. and REMEMBER TO ADD FLUID BEFORE YOU PUT THE TRANSMISSION BACK IN!!! I forgot that and it was a super pain in the *** to fill it
