s4 TII starting problem
my s4 TII has trouble starting after it has sat for a few hours.
It immediately dies the first 30 seconds of trying to start it, but then it will stay running after that if i hold the idle at around 3000rpms for around a minute.
The whole time i try starting it, it backfires.
Someone who was working on my car told me that he thinks it is the LIM gasket, could this be it??
It used to burn a little coolant at the beginning of the startup, but after i took off the upper intake manifold and then put it back on, it stopped.
After the car is warmed up, it drives perfectly and holds idle; never dies either.
Thanks for the help.
