No, the T2 is wider than the n/a. you will need a n/a -> t2 driveshaft, t2 half shafts (they are shorter than n/a shafts because the pumpkin on the n/a is not as wide.) But it will bolt in place. I have heard of miata LSD's put into N/A rearends. GL

Er. I thought the T2 to NA rear end is the way it worked (turbo transmission to the non-turbo rear end). Mazdatrix doesn't make a NA to T2 rear end, it'll have to be custom at a local shop.

To use a TII rear end you'll need the T2 halfshafts and such, as did Idsigloo posted. But then the driveshaft won't work, so it'll have to be custom.

Unless you're making serious HP you won't need the T2 rear-end on a NA. Also the main weak point happens to be the transmission (food for thought).

Just buy a NA LSD (which is a direct bolt on) or a Miata rear end, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I beleive the 94-95 bolts in the our rear end?

Save yourself money and get a t2 driveshaft and transmission. You can still swap the tranny to t2 without swapping the motor. Also the t2 tranny is geared lower so you'll have faster acceleration as well as you won't blow your tranny out as quickly.

I second that.

Also the TII tranny being geared lower? I thougt gearing had to do the with the rear end? Which is the same as a base model (4.10 rear gears).

:O!

If you got some $ happening you can buy a KAAZ LSD from rx7.com that will work with the NA pumpkin. Either that or get yourself an S4 GXL LSD and use that.
So instead of buying TII parts, wich, btw, are hard to come by for the drivetrain (3rd gen owners love second gen LSD's) just buy a GXL LSD. With the money saved, buy yourself a suspension set from racing beat, or a shock set from rx7store.net

The T2 rear axle and halfshafts are all much heavier than their NA counterparts.. and a lot of the weight is rotational so putting those parts in a NA car will slow it down.
