Exclamation S4 TII..how do i remove the factory alarm?

so my FC's alarm went off today, i didn't even know it had an alarm. my car was in the garage, and i took the TL to work.

my dad stopped by the house and told me my alarm was going off in the garage on the Mazda. i didn't know that it had an alarm, and had never set it off before...so i told him to try unlocking the doors or something, and if that didn't work, disconnect the negative terminal...it shut off when he unlocked the doors.

How do i remove the factory alarm?

Why would you want to? It only is supposed to go off if someone tries to unlock your doors from the inside after its locked. (Coat hanger or something) From what I know it doesn't have a shock detector or anything fancy.

Alarm box, I believe in under the passenger side dash, near the speaker... Remove the speaker panel and it'll be a silver box. next to the speaker box. Just disconnect that box.

However, I think the problem is dirty switches in your doors. If you remove the door closed switches and the switches on the door handles (Inside the door) and hit them with contact cleaner, it should solve your problem.
