s4 TII diff on s5 TII engine?

s4 TII diff on s5 TII engine?

well i got this sweet deal on a s4 diff in good condition and wanted to know if it would fit the s5 engine and tranny? thnx i just want a second or third opinion on why or why not it would fit thnx guys

SonicRat if u say it'll fit no need for a second opion Imma call that guy 2day. BTW any1 kno what a good s5 TII engine w/ tranny cost? I live in So. Cal if any1 know of a shop PM plz thnx I think RB wants 2 much for the S5 engine they want to sell me although it does have an uncut hardness

picked up my s5 with tranny and shipping for 1300 from Japan motor imports. Good compression, and claimed 40000 origional...note it did come with a full s5 harness

it will work with some modifications,the s5 engine has a computer control stepping motor on the front cover to meter the oil,the s4 has a mechanical pump with a rod to the throttle body linkage.the turbo and intake manifold is also diffrent.i dropped one in and used my s4 front cover and modified the s5 throtle body so i could keep the intake on,the other option is to install your s4 manifold onthe car but is is smaller and will take away alittle power from the car good luck
