S4 T2, What coils to use?

I tried searching, but i havent really found the info i needed. I've got a Microtech Lt8 and s4 t2 motor im currently swaping the engine into a 1st gen. My question is, What aftermarket coils do you guys run, and how many for trailing/leading?

On my other 1st gen, i've got two Blaster 2 coils on leading and one for trailing, so i wanted to find out whats recommended for a t2.

Your LT8 can't fire aftermarket coils, can it?

As far as i know the LT8 Can fire them, as long as they are the same style as stock (which is why im asking). The LTX8 cannot however, as it requires special Bosch Coils since the LTX8 has on board ignitor.

Yes, the LTX8 has a built-in ignitor, but the LT8 doesn't.
You have the LT8, right?
The LT8 can fire the stock coils, becuase the stock coils have the ignitior built into the base of each coil pack.
If you get aftermarket coils, they will most likely be just coils - no ignitors.  Therefore, the LT8 cannot fire these aftermarket coils directly.  If you wire the aftermarket coils through the stock ignitiors (bases), then it'll work.
