The.extra $$spent will save you a ton in engine rebuilds.

I see, so a stand alone is the ultimate solution for upgrading a turbo engine.

Imma save up for a stand alone instead of a fcd. As far as the engine goes, Im pulling it out for a rebuild since its got the dowel pin leak (

Also for the wastegate, I heard BNR supercar makes quality hybrid turbo with big enough waste gate. How big does the wastegate needs to be for it to be compatible with the free flowing exhaust? Some say 17, some say 22.. Or if I were to go with external, will I still be able to use the stock/hybrid turbo?

I'd just jump straight in and have BNR build the turbo. But ultimately, a standalone is going to be the only way to go. With a BNR, fuel mods, what you have now, along with a standalone, you can get VERY respectable numbers. I'd say more than enough power for most first-timer turbo owners.

Don't worry about the external wastegate untill ur rdy for a completely different turbo. The bnr upgrade will do just fine.

Lots of good info there.

Easy mod for fuel is to rewire the fuel pump so it always sees full voltage (not saying that's all you should do, better management and bigger injectors are good as well).

BNR is a good choice if you do go hybrid route.
