S4 Sport/base Wing on a S5 Vert?

Anyone ever install a S4 Sport/base Wing on a convertible?

Just asking 'cause I'm seriously considering adding the S4 wing or something else with a lower profile.

Thanks in advance!!!

I usually despise spoilers on convertibles, but the sport spoiler would look pretty nice i think.

I'm not sure on the bolt pattern of the S4 wing. I agree, anything bigger than S4 wing on a convertible is an overkill, plus it'll look getto-fied!

Thanks,

Yep the SPORT wing goes beyond the trunk cut-off so you'd need to cut it into three pieces to get it to work.

Any info on how it's attached? I have a spare stock wing I'd like to put on my vert.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one thinking of this..... and It's already been done.

Thanks Syncro for pic to help out w/ the visual image of the idea I've been toying with! Can you verify that everything is connnect to only the trunk and the studs on the quarter panel area have been removed.

Thanks!!

Thumbs up

The Mazda Sport rear spoiler only mounts to the Trunk... so it does not have to be cut into three pieces like someone above wrote..

Here is the pic again... and I have a spoiler like this one for sale in good condition.... PM me if you want to buy it..

The price for an ACTUAL FC wing seems to be a set $50.

I'm guessing $25 for a sporty one?
