I prefer everything s4 except the tail lights, steering wheel, and intake manifolds. I especially like the fact that they're lighter.

I wanted S5 tails for the longest time. And then one day I just didnt. I think a good set of S4 light look damn good, as long as they arnt feded, cracked, chipped, or broken.

 

i agree i think i like them painted the same color as the car...just the parts were they are black

 

well my friend has a s5. ive had two s4s. and honestly, other than say the estetics like the non breaking interior, and the front bumper im really not a fan of the s5

 

My GTU is a silver blueish color, and my tails are black looks good enough for me.

But I am not a S4 only type of guy. I just ordered a S5 radio surround and vents, center console, and a couple other interior pieces.

 

You S4 guys are just jealous 'cause there aren't as many S5 models around, especially '91 Turbos.

Just kidding guys. You know it's funny, on my '88 Vert I like the tails on it better than the S5 series, I think it flows with the car better. I also like the black molding on it.

 

exactly what ive been saying, the s5 tails make the rear end look to rounderd out and screws up the body lines. \it makes the car look too porschey

 

Yeah but on my '91 I love the look of the backend!!! Hey, I guess it's like women, some like one thing in them, well we all do that but some like 'em built one way and others like another or better yet, are you a T man or an A man?

 

I consider my 88GTU rarer than ost, even if it isnt. Ive only seen mine and a couple on here.

 

Mine is S4. I don't care about tail lights - I can live with S4 tails. No problem. But I don't like front bumper skin. It looks the bumper skin is just attached to the rest of body. But S5, it looks bumper skin and body are integrated well.

s5 does have a meaner look than s4. i love both of them as long as it's a turbo

I think most people will say S5, because of its look. Thats why many do S5 exterior and interior to their S4 cars. I have never seen an S5 be converted to the S4 look. And if there is one, it is rare. I personally love the S5 look. The bumper, fog lights, aero mirrors, stock lip, embossed bumper instead of sticker, spoiler, black interior, cluster, and the lights. The Thunderbirds did have similar lights, but that car didnt look as good as the FC. I always get compliments from people thinking my FC is a mid 90's car from people who dont know about rotaries. And those same people also think the S4 is the early 90s car and they think its a different generation. but thats until I point out whats different.

 

S4 or S5..............hmmm. Well I Like some S4 & some S5 aspects. First, I love the S4 tail lights over the S5 round ones that throw off the very straight forward body lines of the FC. I dont know which mirrors I like more, I like the S5 radio surround more, S4 silver cloth seats, S4 sterring wheel better, not sure which front bumper, but of course I have to have the S5 Motor (u know why) Thats all I can think of right now.

 

I like the S4 better but I would love to have the S5 front bumper. I think the S4 front bumper is the only lame part on the car.

 

S4>S5. i hate S5 turbo mirrors. bulbus poop.
S4 interior layout is bettors, throw some seats in and you are set :P

 

i like the s4 but i never had an s5 so i can't say but i dont like anything stock except the s5 interior and tails so i guess im up for saying s5

 

The second gen was an 80's car, the S4 embodies this much better IMO. My S4 is retaining all S4 parts. The front end was switched to an s5 by the previous owner, but is going back to a modified S4.
