s4 to s5 taillight question

I know that the taillights themselves will fit easily but can I use the s4 wire harness with the s5 lights?

I am gonna say yes. Since I haven't seen anything about needing the S5 harness.

Also, just a quick note. You will have to either cut, or bend a piece of the bracket that the taillights bolt to. Its no big deal, but something you should know going into it. I just gave it a smack with a mini-sledge, just enough for the light socket to clear the bracket.

The million dollar man is correct. Just take a few minutes to double check you have the right bulb in the right hole. S4 resemble a square when in, S5 a line. takes all of 15 minutes total for the swap.

This was the absloutely easiest "mod" i have done. it simply took a hammer and and 10mm rachet. pretty slef explanatory. The bulbs fit in nicely as well, you may have to play with them though. It helps to have someone in drivers seat pushing brake, turning signal, etc. to match, but be careful, they get hot.
