is it me or do s4 side skirts look different than s5 skirts.

on my s4 i see weird looking things on my skirts kinda bumpy

i previously owned a s5 and it was kinda solid and smooth

 

S4 doesn't have side skirts. The closest thing to side skirts would be the aero flares in front of each wheel, which had a black textured finish.

S4 models do have a rubberized undercoating beneith the paint that protects against rust through and road damage.

S5 Turbos have side skirts. They are made of the same material as the bumper covers and had a smooth finish.
