s4 or s5 motor

i wanna build a reliable daily driver and weekend racer(autox, drag, drift) im also looking to get atleast 180 WHP should i build the s4 or s5 ive seen s4's with over 200k and i havent seen many s5 with over 150k thats my only consern what do you guys think?

S5 is basically a better engine. If you did an S4 you'll be putting stuff like S5 rotors, intermediate hosuing, and possibly the VDI in it and such.

Will you run a standalone? If not you can cover the s5 block with s4 manifolds and the like.

the only thing that ive heard is that the s5s are betterm but the housings are weaker... but also that heard...
