Well a buddy of mine has one of those (polymer)? lim gaskets that they sell on the internet for like 40 bucks...it was gonna be used on his s4 TII...well plans have changed and he said i could have it but i have a s5 TII...mine hasnt been changed before and i was wondering if there are the same or is it not gonna work? If not ill buy a oem one as i dont kno if those fancy ones are any good anyways...

Is this the LIM to UIM or LIM to block? The LIM to UIM is different. Not sure about the LIM to block.

they bolt up the same,, the only difference is that EGR provision on the early one
the UIM to LIM gaskets however are different,, s4 T and s5 T

 

He's talking about 4 port engines. And the s5 LIM has larger port runners than the s4. I had both manifolds and gaskets at one point.

Use an s4 T2 LIM gasket with s4 T2 irons. Use an s5 T2 LIM gasket with s5 T2 irons.
