Power windows = weight and just something else to break down.

You can use your old harness w/the s5 dash. Just remove all the old wiring from the s5 dash, and replace it with your s4 wiring.

I don't understand what you are asking about the power window wiring. As far as I know, all RX-7 doors came wired for PW. To get them to work, you have to install the motors/tracks/switchs.

Basicly correct, but some models did not come equipped with the interior harness wires for power windows, so that you have to run the wires across the car.

Screw power windows.

I agree completely with Mr.E

I'm going to swap the interior doors of my 87 Gxl to my NA, and I'll still do it without those damn "power" windows.

And by the way, catch up with pyrocloud. Somehow he fried two ECUs just swapping out doors.

Not to say that pyro doesn't have any experience. I just know that if I tried this power window swap, instead of frying an ECU, the car would just erupt in flames and I'd have to fight a gang full of ninjas or something.
