s4 to s5 guage cluster

s4 to s5 guage cluster

would a guage cluster from an s4 hatchback work on an s5 convertible? an if soo would it work accurately?

I'm about 90% sure it won't plug in. I know the plugs on the actual cluster are different but I'm not sure if the cluster harness will plug into the main harness.

The wiring is not exactly plug and play.
you need to rewire the patch harness to put the s5 into an s4.
Try a search and you will get info on this,,it is not the first time someone has asked this.
maybe try 87t-66 as he knows about this mod.

you need to repin the cluster harness. it takes about 30 minutes and the pin outs are in the FSM
