Question S4 and S5 front bumper differences

Does anyone have any front end pics of a S5 bumper compared to a S4? Also, is it possible to put a S5 front bumper on a S4?

The S4 bumper is smoother on the bottom lip and has the black rubber molding, where the S5 has body matched molding and a "recessed" portion on the lower air dam that looks a bit to me like fangs- kinda agressive. I am sure that if you search the forum or look at some of these guys avatars you will see the diff. The S5 also has clear turn lenses which are a bit larger than the S4's amber ones, too. I almost forgot.

As for fitment- I have seen a few guys do the swap- but don't know exactly what modifications (if any) are needed.

I have done the swap. If you are going to do it, do the whole car to s5 exterior or it will look cheezy. IF you TRY to do just the bumper you will run into some problems.

On the s5 the lower part where the bumper meets the fender is slightly wider than the s4. SO... if you do just us the bumper it will not line to the s4 fender there and your car will look pretty dumb. also the fact that the moldings on s4 and s5 are shaped differently. If you were good at bodywork you could concievably make it look good with just the bumper.

For the full swap you will need the following from the s5:
Front bumper, Rear Bumper, Left fender, Right Fender, Door side moldings (or the whole doors, as I did), rear side mouldings, taillights are optional.

If you want it to look good, don't expect it to be cheap. After the conversion, of course, you would need to repaint the whole car so it dosent look like a pile.

Yea it fits pretty good just the issue with the fenders as previously mentioned. The radiator inlet i believe may be slightly larger and the S5 front bumper has larger brake duct openings.

The support foam and the front metal fram/support is different between the S4 and S5 as well.

And don't forget the bigger brake duct holes that also can hold the factory fog lights.
