S4 to S5 Alternator Question

I did some searches but most threads leads to nothing.

I have the diagram pics and all but just curious on a few things.

Can you just run a wire from the S terminal to the B terminal then just run a wire from the B terminal to the Battery?

Also, what size wire is good to use? I know some people use something like 4 gauge wire on a grounding system.

Thanks,
Mike

I figured it would work as it is the exact same as running both wires to the battery.

Do you know what gauge wire or does it need to be anything large? I would assume wire just as thick as the stock wires would work fine.
