S4 , S5 ?
(s4 and s5 are shorter than 3 chars, wont let me search... hardly anything under 'series4' etc)
so what are the exact differences between the s4s and s5s?

They are the two production runs of the 2nd gen RX-7
S4= 86-88 RX-7 Production
S5= 89-92 RX-7 Production
And while we are here
FC is short for the 2nd gen RX-7 as well. There are FC3C (convertible) and FC3S (coupe) versions however the FC3S (again the coupe) stopped production as a 91.
