Whew. Ok I just took off my whole intake system (throttle body, dynamic chamber, exten manifold, and intake manifold). Is there a good way I can tell whether any of these parts (and the block, since I've got it all exposed) are S4 or S5? The guy I bought it from said it had some mixed up parts on it. I found out one interesting thing... I have NO 6PI SLEEVES!!! At all... they just aren't there! Maybe thats why I get horrible gas milage, and fail emissions? Anyways, I just need to find out what is S4 and what is S5, so I can get it all matched up with all the same year so that it will work correctly.

Are the intake manifold pipes all next to eachother or seperated?

 

the S4 UIM will have grooved lines, the S5 manfold will have just a 13B fuel injection on it
